چکیده

Flexible ultrasound array with phased configurations have individually controllable element emission and reception acoustic properties, however conventional processes design are too complex. It is necessary to explore rapid creation methods potential applications for flexible arrays. In this paper, we provide a method fabrication of transducers based on laser micromachining verify the performance line by multi-mode positioning imaging under curved surfaces. The proposed single-layered double-sided conductive stretchable electrode configuration eliminated blockage waves, and ’island bridge’ structures compatible flexibility excitation row addressing. The mechanical, electrical interconnections verified.Based Verasonics system, ultrasonic scans multiple steel column targets in modalities surfaces localization. The results show that can obtain clear visual localization images A-scan, B-scan E-scan poses. In addition, artifacts be effectively suppressed adjusting depth focus optimizing sparse structure. verified has field imaging.

First in vivo use of a capacitive micromachined ultrasound transducer array-based imaging and ablation catheter.

OBJECTIVES The primary objective was to test in vivo for the first time the general operation of a new multifunctional intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) catheter constructed with a microlinear capacitive micromachined ultrasound transducer (ML-CMUT) imaging array. Secondarily, we examined the compatibility of this catheter with electroanatomic mapping (EAM) guidance and also as a radiofrequen...

Micromachined Hot-wire Boundary Layer Flow Imaging Array

Boundary layer flow imaging can provide real time information for flight control of air vehicles, and collision avoidance and stealth detection of underwater vehicles. High density, microscaled sensor arrays based on microfabrication techniques have made it possible to enable these new applications. We report on the development of such a flow sensor array. It is realized by combining surface mi...
